Speaking from experience, BEWARE of this Manhattist company that takes tenants money and "hold" it in a so-called company escrow account. If you're the tenant in a sublet deal, chances are, it'll never go to your landlord. If you're the landlord, you won't see the money at all or for a very long time at least. Is this true? I am dealing with them right now for an apartment. But weirdly that apartment is also under jacobsen realtors. The broker told me his company brought the property over from jacobsen. This all seems weird.
