We are hoping to move from midtown to the UWS this Fall with our 2 year old and our labrador and I was wondering if anyone had any good tips on dog-friendly buildings in the 70s or 80s (need to be in the good school zones). We plan on doing some walking around the neighborhood and making trips to local dog runs to try to speak to other big-dog owners (and I have been reading other helpful threads in this vein on streeteasy) but just wondered if anyone had any useful info that might help us get started in terms of buildings or management companies they are aware of. As the other dog owners out there with dogs over 30lb will know, finding buildings which accept larger dogs is something of a challenge in NYC to say the least.
