This is a scam! Be careful. At the beginning everything looks fine but the building is filthy: Just check the elevator when you visit the apartment. They never fix anything. Very noisy. There is no super in the building. They never return security deposits.

didn't you use the elevator on the visit to decide whether you wanted to rent the apartment or not? notice the noise? notice the filth? or that you wer in a marginal neighborhood?
