It was 125 CPN. (Not that there couldn't have been one at 111, too.)

That guy has even more messes going on: http://www.crainsnewyork.com/article/20120810/REAL_ESTATE/120819990

East River Mortgage's bankruptcy case now has 80 documents. I can't tell where it's at.

There's this, though, from July:

"PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that East River Mortgage Corp., the above captioned
debtor and debtor-in-possession (the "Debtor"), by its attorneys, Rattet Pasternak, LLP,
represents that it has received the following bids for the sale of the Debtor's real property
located at 125 Central Park North, Unit PH5, New York, NY:
Purchaser: Igor Myasnikov, a party wholly unaffiliated or connected to the Debtor or
any of its insiders
Purchase Price: $950,000, all cash. $100,000 downpayment has been received, with balance
of $850,000 due at closing
Contingencies: None
Buyer’s Premium: An additional 6% is payable to the Debtor/Seller from the Purchaser At
Closing"

No closing yet, as far as I can tell.

very strange
In the original notification prior to the aution this buyer was mentioned with this bid being the minimum. It was very short notice prior to the aution (6 days???). If this is the buyer, something just does not feel right about this property and this aution.
Whatever...

Yes, I don't get it. The document above identifying the buyer is from 7/27, and Malcolm already reported it at http://malcolmcarter.wordpress.com/2012/07/16/luxe-manhattan-condo-faces-bankruptcy-auction/#more-22787

The "judicial approval of the sale" to Myasnikov was entered on 8/24, but nothing on ACRIS yet. Maybe he bailed, or it just hasn't been recorded.

Autions such as these have a 45-60 day window to close or the bidder loses the initial down payment.
Might have closed and we are still in reasonable window of not reporting...
Could be fishy....might just be seafood.
950K would be a steal.
