I was checking the new listings in Manhattan this afternoon, and its overrun with listings from this brokerage called TPI.

I looked at some of the listings, and they all share the same poorly-written description. Went to the brokerage's website--loads of seemingly fake agents are listed with their bios coming soon.

All looks fishy to me. Wondering if anyone else here agrees?

They just added 3 listings for 444 CPW - all of them are incorrect (floor plans don't match the apartments), and it looks like they are just misnamed copies of other active listings in the building. They changed the price a bit as well to obscure things, but the prices also don't make any sense relative to the apartment lines. Looks like some sort of scam, agreed.

They added a ton of sales listings today, all false, and Streeteasy has removed them. The listings belonged to brokers at legitimate firms. In some cases TPI changed the apartment number but used the photos and floor plans from the legitimate listing, in other cases they used the correct address and apartment number, but used different pictures. And yes, the price was always slightly different from the "real" listing.
