Are people moving after two winters of being out of the way, in the wind, far from the subway? Is there higher turnover if you live at Silver Towers, for example?

I wouldn't be surprised... but you also have to figure a lot of those people are more transient in the first place. Figure they are more likely to be able to convince a transplant or foreigner it is a great place.

The reason they are in out of the way places is because 1) that's where land is cheapest, and 2) where zoning laws (and lack of neighbors to complain) allow for taller buildings, 3) where there is land to build AT ALL, and 4) where often their are tax-abatements and such.

Silver Towers are in Eastern New Jersey.
Yeah, out of the way and have to walk to subway. Think of the exercise your fat ass would get, while drinking your big gulp. Neighborhood is great.
