I don't know if there are really any "standouts" that represent clear quality, like a 5th ave co-op. I think you are talking about a LOT of new inventory, and a very transitional neighborhood, so I think that there isn't a lot of safe ground. Maybe the older buildings, just because they have folks who bought a longer time ago. But I still think you are talking about a neighborhood that gets hit worse than average.

Think location, location, location. Nice buildings close to subway (10-50 Jackson, 10-63 Jackson, etc.) or anything on the water/west of Vernon.
