A bevy of apartments in smaller Brooklyn buildings are being offered via a new affordable housing lottery as part of the FAC Renaissance project, which calls for the renovation of 21 buildings, offering 146 affordable apartments.
643 President Street.
The seven units will lease at $642; $821; $787 and $1,000 per month. These rates well below market rate units in the same buildings, which include these addresses:
- 643 President Street in Park Slope
- 579 Warren Street in Boerum Hill
- 677 Union Street in Park Slope
- 680 Union Street in Park Slope
Apartments at 643 President Street are included in this housing lottery.
Income levels required for any applicant’s eligibility range between $24,549 for a single person up to $45,840 for a 2-person household. The income levels must be between 40, 50 and 60 percent of the area median income.
