The median asking price for a home in Park Slope was $1.8 million this December, according to the StreetEasy Data Dashboard. That means our Deal of the Week is priced at under one-third of the median asking price for the neighborhood!

Why You’ll Love It…
You get the best of both worlds in terms of exposed brick in this apartment: there’s a wall of classic red brick in the living room, and a wall of whitewashed brick plus a decorative fireplace in the bedroom. Both are beautiful and perfectly compliment the unit’s gorgeous hardwood floors. The bedroom also features an oversized window in addition to a California Closet. Other conveniences include Whole Foods and the Park Slope Food Co-op, in addition to a slew of bars, restaurants, and shops along 5th Avenue such as Union Hall, The Ripped Bodice, Negril BK, Ginger’s Bar, and Chela.
…And Why You Might Not
The biggest drawback of this unit is its lack of windows. While there’s one in the living area, it seems to face another part of the building, meaning it won’t get a ton of light. There are no windows in the kitchen or the bathroom. Additionally, there’s no elevator in the building, but thankfully, this unit is only on the second floor.
Even with these considerations in mind, it’s fair to say this Park Slope unit is a steal for the neighborhood!
