EOS, a new rental building located at 100 W. 31st Street in Midtown South, is offering 19 units in a newly announced affordable housing lottery. Qualified applicants whose income meets eligibility standards are invited to apply for apartments set at below market-rate levels.

This lottery is aimed at those earning between 90 percent and 120 percent of the area median income, who would be eligible for studio units as well as some 1- and 2-bedroom apartments. The income ranges and rental fees are shown in the graph below.

EOS is a 47-story rental tower completed in 2016 that contains a total of 375 apartments and premier recreational and community space. Each apartment contains a washer/dryer, dishwasher, hardwood floors, kitchens and bathrooms with premium finishes and fixtures. Plus, there’s even a pool!
