Michael Derard

Michael Derard benefits clients with his well-rounded background in all facets of real estate. He is a seasoned professional who began his venture in real estate in 2003 as a part-time mortgage broker and an investor. After acquiring several multifamily properties, Michael seized an opportunity in commercial real estate finance, moved to New York City, and started a consulting business for commercial real estate in Manhattan running a small team. He subsequently joined DSA Realty and held management roles at EXR Group such as Director of New Development and Director of Resource Development. Michael provided leadership, recruited, hired and trained over 75 agents and oversaw 400+ transactions, including more than 12 new development projects. In July 2017, he joined Compass with his team, Realo, a group of talented entrepreneurs with the drive to navigate and match their clients to their perfect homes. With his passion for real estate, Michael aspires to launch his own brokerage firm, REALO. A team of seasoned realtors, with proficient knowledge in New York City housing market and track records.
