First, congratulations. You found a gem of an apartment. :)

We are moving and are looking to rent our one of a kind 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in Downtown Brooklyn (125 Court St)!

The entire apartment is surrounded by a huge private terrace. It fits a sandbox and a kiddie pool with plenty of room to spare; or tables and chairs for an outdoor dinner overlooking Manhattan. Set up your own outside gym! Or how about a corner with your own vegetable and herb garden (see photo :) It has so much great outside space! It has an unobstructed view that goes from Lower Manhattan all the way to the Verrazzano-Narrows bridge.

All the apartment’s many and large windows face the terrace. Open up the windows and enjoy a lovely breeze throughout the day. There is great sunlight year-round and the ceilings are about 12 feet high, making the area feel spacious and airy.

It’s blocks away from where many subway lines enter Brooklyn (2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, F, G, R). The building has a multi-story parking lot underneath that includes an Avis rental location. There are Zipcars all around the place, too. There’s a YMCA in the building with a swimming pool. It’s a 24/7 concierge building, and deliveries of all sorts are a breeze.

Cross the street to Trader Joe’s. Or to Walgreens, a wine store, pizza, or a dozen other places. Half a block away you’ll find Sahadi’s and Damascus. Or a pet store. Or a Pediatric Urgent Care. Sometimes it feels like everything you need is within a one block radius.

As if that weren’t enough, it’s a rent stabilized unit (421a) until 2032 or so; we are the second tenants so the rent is $4,449.53 and is relatively cheap for the location and unit.
