Built in 1899, 395 Broadway in Tribeca is a fine example of the work of architect Robert Maynicke. Maynicke was an extremely prolific architect who designed many downtown buildings. The building has limestone on the street elevations, and red brick on the lot line elevations. A lovely lion head cornice can be seen just below the roof line.
