Cicada recently commissioned the award winning Los Angeles architecture firm Bureau Spectacular to conceptualize home interiors in the architecturally groundbreaking, brutalist Chatham Towers in downtown Manhattan. It is being marketed in both 2- and 3-bedroom variants designed by Bureau Spectacular, and they have also supplied renderings and an optional furniture package.

Bureau Spectacular is best known for their work in the Venice Architecture Biennale, their pavilion at Coachella, and for Pool Party, their finalist entry for the 2017 MOMA PS1 Young Architects Program. They were recently exhibited SFMOMA, and are represented in the collection at MoMA. This is their first residential commission in New York.

This 1,350 sq. ft. home is a 1-bedroom and a studio that has been combined. It is currently set up as a spacious and airy 2-bedroom with two baths. The flexible open plan easily converts to a 3-bedroom while maintaining generous and lofty living and dining areas, with closets galore.
