i feel prices will cont to drop/ unfortunately the job market is still poor with many jobs continuing to leave manhattan. i would wait to buy until the market shakes out. people would rather sell than take a foreclosures and ruin their credit potential... Most people would find it hard right now to go into a jumbo mortgage. Small apt are still very overpriced..
