Stocks Go Up, and Suddenly RE Bulls See a Correlation

Just thinking about this... when did the RE bulls suddenly "find" this correlation between stocks and RE. Before the RE crash, you saw tons (imho most) RE bulls arguing vehemently that RE was a better investment than stock, its not correlated, bla bla. So, now that it is rising... why is it that the same folks suddenly hitching their wagons to the S&P movement? For YEARS the vast majority of these RE bulls said RE, now every single one seems to jump when stocks jump saying "I told you so"... (except they actually said the opposite).
