How bad is the noise from the 2nd Avenue subway construction? Looking to buy a place on a high floor of 2nd avenue building, right where the constuction is now. It's fits all our needs but we're worried about the construction. Besides being a pain to walk around and an eyesore with all the construction - what's the noise like? What time do they start? Anyone know how long 2nd ave will be down some lanes in this area?
