Our personal homeowners insurance policy is coming up for renewal and we were wondering whether we had too little or too much insurance and whether our premiums were in line. Apartment: 3 BR Coop on the east side. Policy highlights 1) Building Protection: $100K ($500 all peril deductible) 2) Personal Property: $50K ($500 all peril deductible) 3) Family liability protection: $1 million 4) Additional living exp: upto 12 months 5) Loss assesement: $1K each occurunce ($250 deductible) 6) Annual premium $500 Note: The coop itself also some insurance. The above is what we have taken on our own. Does this make sense? Any particuliar items above seem out of line?
