Discussion about
Moving back into the city, not enough time to buy something, so want to rent for a year. Of course I'd like to avoid paying 15% to a broker for showing me a listing I found myself online and — since I've spent 3 full days scouring every single listing available online — I doubt any legitimate broker is going to show me something I haven't already found myself ... so how do I proceed? How do you get INTO one of these places without a broker? Do I just try to find out the management company associated with each address I like? (don't they charge their own fee, anyway? and/or don't they just direct you to the listing broker anyway?) And if there ISN'T an address listed, should I assume the listing is bull****?? Thanks!!
