AMT deduction on co-op mortgage

As I understand it, even if you hit AMT you can still deduct the mortgage part of a co-op maintenance fee. A few questions: 1 - Is this correct? 2 - What percent of maintenance is this usually? (I realize this varies widely, but in your standard 50% deductible building, what part of that 50% is maintenance and what part tax?) 3 - Does the 1mm limit apply, and how? Would I add my current mortgage size to my portion of the building's mortgage?
