Discussion about 1469 Lexington Avenue #28
this place is a DUMP rats, roaches, silverfish coming out of the walls. the interior common area of the building hasn't had any maintenance in years -- rugs have holes in them, stains everywhere, graffiti, unit doors look like someone took a knife to them, even a vintage 1970's security camera on the door. this place is a DUMP rats, roaches, silverfish coming out of the walls. the interior common area of the building hasn't had any maintenance in years -- rugs have holes in them, stains everywhere, graffiti, unit doors look like someone took a knife to them, even a vintage 1970's security camera on the door. You can tell there's no pride here. it reminds me of chernoble or a place in eastern europe that's been abandoned. when we lived there moved out last year there was a strong dichotomy of really old people and party people in there 20s. the former would leave their tv on really loud and their dogs roam the hallway; the latter would yell and scream until 1am. the building is 100 years old walls paperthin and you hear EVERYTHING. this means you guitar-at-3-am dude on the 4th floor and children at recess screaming at the top of your lungs 4 hours a morning every day. I heard on the lower floors you can physically FEEL the subway rattle by. landord --- spend some freaking money on the facility! wake up! for the price you can spend an extra $100 and get much better anywhere else in the city (I suggest the new building on 96th by starbucks!). moooooooove on. or if you have to live here get major concessions.
