primary residence tax abatement

I just received my tax property bill and realized that my primary residence abatement for our condo has been incorrectly reversed for last year and for 2014 as well. Has anyone else been a victim of this error. If so any advice as to how to sort this out. I know there was a deadline to notify the city of your primary residence change, but since our unit has been our primary residence since we purchased it (with tax records that prove it) , I didn't think I would have to worry about this. Any advice appreciated.
