Say you're deciding between buying two similarly priced coops or condos (assuming apples to apples comparison) in these comparable Queens neighborhoods. Both are near their respective subway stations, both are near the "action" in their neighborhoods, (eg. Steinway and Greenpoint Ave/Queens Blvd). The difference is the number of bedrooms and the neighborhood. Which one would you go for if you were intending to live in one for the next 5 years? Which would hold better resale value/secure more potential rent?
