Why is the condo fee and tax so HIGH???

Discussion about 305 West 52nd Street #6E
The building is a mirror image of 300 west 53rd street. But the condo fee is about $400 higher, and tax about $500 higher per month for a unit in this building than the same unit in the other building. In total that is about $900 extra per month to live in this building. There is no amenity whatsoever, and the other building was gut renovated a few years back. Anyone knows why that is the case???
