Discussion about
Our apartment is a combination of 2 units. One room was formerly a kitchen and has a capped gas line out from the riser. How easy would it be to use the existing gas line in the former kitchen for a gas fireplace? If there existing former kitchen venting, could be used for the fireplace venting? If not, we do have a large patio are off of this room and could run a vent out of the wall to the outdoor space. In terms of building permission with the coop, that will likely not be much of an issue since the building is small and other units already have fireplaces installed. I am more concerned about cost and feasibility of the install. Thank you for any assistance!
