RENTERS BEWARE!!!! JACREG REALTY/ SUPERINTENDENT- MARIO/OWNER- ABE HARUVI OF 1105 AND 1107 1ST AVENUE NEW YORK, NY 10065 I was recently the victim of a burglary at 1107 1st Ave. Apt 3D on Wednesday, February 12th between the hours of 7 AM and 7 PM. There was no evidence of forced entry or any indication of the apartment being ransacked. In fact, the only three areas disturbed were the EXACT areas where I hid my most precious belongings (between books on one shelf where the iPad was concealed, my jewelry box 6 feet up on furniture, etc.). My Apple MacBook Pro, iPad, and over $40,000 of ALL of my jewelry, including priceless family heirlooms were stolen. After returning from work, the evening of the 12th, I immediately went downstairs to my live-in superintendent “Mario”, to “inform” him of the burglary. He showed little surprise. He never left his apartment to investigate or call the authorities and stated, “Why are you banging on my door? Call the police, stupid” and slammed his door in my face. Mario is the only individual with additional keys to 3D, and in my opinion, has been entering my apartment without my permission frequently, since at least November, 2013, when the first pieces of jewelry went missing. I trusted this man, an employee of JACREG REALTY CORP. and building owner ABE HARUVI, to keep my new “home” safe and well- managed. In return, HE STOLE EVERYTHING FROM ME Both JACREG Realty Corp. and the building owner, Abe Haruvi have neglected to reach out to me,or take any initiative in investigating their employee, Mario (Superintendent) thus far. CHANGE YOUR LOCKS AND KEEP ALL KEY COPIES WHEN MOVING TO A NEW APARTMENT IN NYC!!!! [less]
