Landlord is not renewing the lease

We rented apartment 10 months ago. Two weeks ago landlord gave us a notice that he won't renew the lease when it is up at the end of the August, because he wants to move back into the apartment. It is very nice of him to give a 2 months notice. But I paid 15% broker fee and was hoping to stay in the apartment a little longer (2 years at least). Now, I have to look for another apartment and pay yet another broker fee. Can I somehow ask landlord to pay at least part of a new broker fee for us?
