Lease Assignment in Rent Stabilized Building?

Hi, I have to break my lease in a rent-stabilized building, and the management company told me that's fine, as long as I find the tenant myself. My question is: Does the person taking over my lease inherit my rent -- and all subsequent yearly increases that go along with it -- or will the rent spike to the current market rate when she goes to renew it? More importantly, does anyone know if there's a law regarding this? Thank you!
