santos mahogany floors - options?

I am buying a condo with santos mahogany solid wood floors. About 1100-1200 sq ft in all has this flooring. I hate it. Too red. Would prefer hickory or oak to this burgundy color. But don't necessarily want to rip out perfectly ok floors that aren't even 10 years old. But I hate the color. If I strip and refinish what are my options? I know they will still look like mahogany but can I get them more brownish than red some way?
