HELP! Breaking lease-Noise from construction

I just moved in less than 2 months ago and landlord has started renovation in apartment next door (shared wall with mine). Noise is extreme and I work at night so I need sleep during the day. The other day they tore down walls and now, they're hammering and drilling some kind of metal. I cant be in the apartment between 8.30 am -5pm. The walls, floor and everything vibrate, shake all the time throughout the day. I feel like my brain was shaken with metal banging, wall drilling, etc. Its like I live at construction site, not apartment. I want to move out as this affects my work performance and the place is simply not inhabitable. What can I do about this? I work for a hospital but the legal people there dont really deal with landlord-tenent problem. I just want to be somewhere else.
