Renewing Lease Issue

I am moving out and my roommate is staying. My landlords is refusing to send a new lease without my name on it. Currently the current lease is under a Guarantor, my roommate and my self. Instead, the landlord sent a renewal document with my rommates name on it, stating that she will be renewing the contract. However the original lease contains my name on it. What should I do? Is this okay? Or should I insist in a new lease without my name on it?
