This unit is trying to be sold again? I looked at the unit/building a few years ago when I was going to put down my offer and I looked at now. The coop and unit are in problems! This unit is trying to be sold again? I looked at the unit/building a few years ago when I was going to put down my offer and I looked at now. The coop and unit are in problems! This 5-unit coop is still under SRO status. With that, they were never able to get a permit to do any repair work since the 1940s. Recently they have a major facade problem (fell off from 4th floor) and they tried to fix it without permit. Since a SRO building without Cert of non-harassment can't receive DOB work permit, the coop received a STOP WORK order from the city! There are multiple outstanding violations/fines with the building. The unit itself is an SRO (rooming house) too. It could be a very problematic. There are only 5 units so the potential legal cost, violation penalty and repair cost can't be overlooked. The SRO status destroys value for this nice little townhouse. Sad. [less]
