Discussion about
Think about this.... 1) Differences in market opinion causes a standoff between buyers and sellers. 2) This standoff results in reduced overall sales volume as both sides dig in. 3) Reduced sales volume leads to reduced commissions for brokers. BUT NOW....brokers (who have always been bullish) are getting fed up with anemic sales volume and are now urging sellers to reduce their asking prices in order to attract buyers and encourage offers. Of course, lower prices also results in lower commissions but lower-commissions is better than no-commissions. I think its interesting that even brokers are encouraging a reduction in prices because they know that anything priced out-of-line isn't going anywhere.
