Hi guys, I am a professional working in upstate NY. Im not a rich guy but I will be stuck in upstate NY due to my job and its so boring that I really need a place to stay during the weekend in nyc. I have lived in nyc for 12 years before going to upstate so i am familiar with manhattan neighborhood. I believe it is financially more sound to just book a hotel but i also do want an ownership experience and the lack of hassle of booking hotel every weekend. My ideal budget is less than 1 million with low monthly maintenance and tax. No walk up (been there done that) and w/d in the building (been there done that) in a relatively new building (less than 20 years old) Nothing past 96th st on east side and preferably lower or mid manhattan. And nothing close to the project nor chinatown. No co-op. https://streeteasy.com/building/303-east-33-street-new_york/7k?context%5Bcontroller%5D=%23%3CBuildingController%3A0x000055e86412f348%3E&context%5Bcurrent_user%5D=&hide_if_empty=true§ion=sales This one looks attractive to me. If you guys have any suggestions or general guidance, help would be appreciated. [less]
