About Joan Goldberg of Brown Harris Stevens

I had a very disappointing experience with Joan Goldberg. From the start, I felt that my genuine interest and excitement in the apartment were met with unnecessary hostility. Instead of professionalism, I was met with dismissiveness and rudeness, including being called "messy" for simply asking a question to better understand the process. Buying a home is emotional and personal, and rather than support or guidance, I was made to feel like a burden. I’ve worked with many agents, and this interaction stood out in all the wrong ways. I would not recommend working with her, especially if you’re someone who values clear, respectful communication.
