Discussion about
Tiffany, is 999k really out of line for this apt? looks like 23R just sold for 1,150,000. No listing so I can't compare condition. The higher floor would normally command quite a premium but since these apartments face the LT park, not a street, the 5th floor wouldn't be as much of a problem for some buyers.
I wonder how many days are in the "last week." Hasn't the site said that for about a month?
I remember they once had a deadline of May 31. I'm fascinated by this sale, I guess because of the sales techniques. If they really do get above ask that's impressive for a FSBO in this economy.
The best home in the world people have definitely got to be the craziest selelrs in the world. If they have multiple offers as they say, then why have they not accepted one and gone into contract yet?
and charging buyers who take mortgages an extra $100,000 than cash buyers is the most absurd thing I've ever heard. If a buyer needs a mortgage and he sees that he's expected to pay an extra $100k over cash buyers, there is no freakin way they are going to make an offer.
Another "FINAL WEEK" come and gone.... Would love to know what the seller is thinking.
Implying that the sellers "think" might be over-stating their intelligence.
Isnt this place in contract already?
I have no idea. Anyone know if it is in contract? The website hasn't been changed.
The website has an add on at the end now correcting the square footage. The irony is its the most standard postwar 2 bed 2 bath imaginable in a neighborhood with arguably among the least character in all of Manhattan. The finishes are also as blah as could be. Wowza.
The four bed layout is grounds to be certified.
certified for waht?
