Discussion about
and you buyers are just going to have to get used to it and live with it. It would be be fun to watch what would happen if all of sudden tomorrow every seller in Manhattan decided to go the FSBO route. We would all be reading about the collective "duh, what do I do next" in the New York Times real estate section for months. The whole market would crash while all you mental delinquents try to figure out how to do every deal over craigslist (you would be too cheap to even advertise your homes in a real newspaper). I wouldn't be able to wait to see what new scapegoats you would find to blame when all your closings went south from your collective ignorance.
dont you sound a little too confident, you must be frightened at the prospect of having to find a real job.
Brokers are really scoring points this week.
My dear, they'd blame the brokers, of course! Duh.
Why do I see thousands of ads by real eatate agents on craigs list. Yet when a owner advertisors on criags list it's a bad idea.
No one said advertising on craigslist for an owner is a bad idea. MAny FSBOs might not sell however because their is not a broker to ground seller's in reality about why their property isnt the most unique in the world. It would be fun watching all these supposed Wall Street pros try to financially qualify the buyers that call. Then again FSBOs may not care because they like to show of their furniture and waste other people's time by just posting a free ad to see what price their apartment may get.
Some people have to sell futons out their apartment #6, in order to make the mortgage payment.
Yeah, you should always check the for sale ads with the ads for furniture on Craigslist, they may have the same phone number.
Without FSBOs and craiglist, there would be a huge drop in the amount of fake artwork and overpriced antiques sold in Manhattan not just used furniture.
I doubt you know much about artwork #9, you are probably just a low life greedy real estate broker.
