I really don't see what the issue is - it's not a bad idea, but even if you don't approve, likening Bloomberg to Brownie is a bit unfair, no? Do you really think the homeless will start crowding the crosstown buses?

AFAIK, they'd be allowed to as long as they remain in an upright position and are otherwise not actively breaking any laws -- the homeless I mean, not Brownie/Bloomie. So if it's hot, cold, precipitating, etc. ... yes.
Wouldn't you?

What happens when the bus reaches the end of the route? They clear out the vehicle in my experience.

So if you were homeless and got offloaded at the end of the run in cold or heat or rain or snow, what would you do next?

What's your point? They'd get right back on the next one going back across town? Big deal. It's too big a hassle to do it over and over every 30 mins or so. Again, don't see how this is such a terrible idea to address a fairly legitimate issue.

Now time to tear down the projects and kick them out of NYC too.

rufus, I thought you were banned. How'd you get your last "projects" thread forcibly deleted, by the way?

"but two mistakes in our lives, we'd all be homelss", my dad.
Look you imbeciles, a true measure of a society is how we take care of the least fortunate. In other third world countries, they got no handicap laws, no homeless shelters, no food pantries, no unemployment benefits (i'm not saying there aren't abuses and some "decide" to live a homeless lives) etc etc etc... that's why you live in America... .so you don't see 5yo coming up to you to beg for bread.
Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job!
