I don't know what got me laughing more...the "never before has an apartment" stuff below, given that there are about 300+ apartments for sale on Riverside Blvd. or the $2,177 per square foot asking price. Why even bother listing this apartment at this ridiculous price?
"Never before has an apartment of such uncompromising craftsmanship, quality and detail been brought to the market in the upper reaches of Trump Place. Located on a high floor, enveloped by the quintessential Manhattan panorama, the Hudson River, Central Park and surrounded on three sides by a 824 square foot terrace is a residence for the most sophisticated and discerning purchaser."

the brokers for 29-A felt that the language used to market 29A insufficiently captured the grandiosity of the unit, clearly the only reason it failed to sell quickly at the higher price.
right. i held a gun to this person's head and said buy or i'll pull the trigger. and nowhere do i indicate that this person will be selling at a loss. there is no indication that this price is lower than the initial purchase. in fact, i'd suspect it is higher.
and aren't you the one who thinks those who face foreclosure have only themselves to blame because they were not prudent enough?

And by never before, the agent means not in the last 30 days. It's a bit silly.

It sold for $3.14M in 2003: http://a836-acris.nyc.gov/Scripts/DocSearch.dll/Detail?Doc_ID=2003070300382001
The craftsmanship, quality and detail must've been added later.
And is mortgaged for $3.3M.
the banker that lend 107% on that thing should have his nutz or ovaries removed.... we tried taking away their bonuses that got us nowherezville.
That lender probably worked for Citigroup. Yikes on earnings today.

NWT, missed that earlier. hilarious.
