Discussion about
Dear all, I'm thinking of using Anthony Dalo to create some custom cabinets for the bedroom - two quick questions: 1) Can anyone comment on the overall quality of his work (and whether you are getting good bang for your buck)? 2) Is there anyone that can deliver similar quality work for a materailly lower price? Thanks for your help.

Turnaround...I can vouch for the quality of Tony's work. I've used him a couple of times on projects, and I have colleagues who work with him all the time. I think Tony's prices are pretty reasonable, but I'm sure you can find someone cheaper. I would also say the quality would not be the same.

Although I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dalo, if you have the time, it is a good idea to get some other prices and check out the quality of work. Here are a few rec's:

Evan Hughes: evanhughesstudio@aol.com 718 643 0561
George Palumbo: (718) 387-3842

Those two can give you 'furniture grade' quality, as can Tony Dalo...The following two are probably cheaper but with a bit of a dropoff in quality.

I've used Little Wolf in the past. Can anyone comment as to how their price/quality rates vs some of these others?

ive used little wolf also and been pleased--im sure not the cheapest, but they are good--always as advertised, on time and, no hassle--often one pays up a little for a hassle free situation and it's as bad as the cheaper choice--in lw's case it is no headaches
