Discussion about
Anyone with information to share on this area. It seems like the downturn is having a big negative effect on parts of Forte Green. Shootings in the area are on the rise. A couple of nice developments planned for the area of Ashland and Fulton have been replaced by plans for lower income residents. Any comments?

This was a shooting that happened about 10 blocks or so from Fort Greene. It also isn't in what would be the prime area of Clinton Hill more of a bed stuy border line.as far as the location at dekalb and kent.It is a much improved neighborhood over the years but there is a large housing project across the street from this shooting. The one shooting that did actually happen in Fort Greene proper was allegedly from the result of an argument that started in the Atlantic center Mall and spilled out into the street.Unfortunately for the usually calm and peaceful brownstone neighborhood.
