Did you see this NYTimes article today? http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/15/realestate/15hunt.html?_r=1 I am looking at at 3Br in all those buildings, too. The ones at 5th on the park were quite expensive, and at least at the time I was looking, the tax abatement had not been formally granted. I thought the neighborhood was awful. The building was a mess, I am not surprised to hear the pool isn't working. The article is about how she picked the apartment by internet and never visited, even though she lived in Chappaqua and works in Manhattan! I thought there was something downright weird about this article.

It seems she didn't see the apartment because it was under construction.
