I am looking at a unit in this project. The developer is offering a rent to own program. The rent for the unit I am looking at is $2850 and the asking price is $528,000. I can sign a 2 year lease and I get $1000 per month in purchase price credit ($24k total). I need to put $1000 down on the purchase contract and I can close anytime in the next 2 years. Does anyone else have any experience with rent to own? Does anyone know anything about the project or the developer?
