So much depends on tax abatements, relative newnesss, condition, etc., but things are trading (i.e. we are seeing recent closed sales) around $1000-$1100 per square foot.

Compared to rents, $400 psf.

Chelea prices still seem very bubbly to me. There are degrees of idiotic prices, but Caledonia is a contender for dumbest.

As Ali said, it depends.

Current prices vary between about $700 and $1,700 per square foot. Big difference in quality. A traditional sixties "luxury" apartment building is now going in the low to mid-$800s.

Wouldn't be in a hurry to buy. Lots of new construction coming on the market in the area. And price-to-rent ratios make little sense today.
