They're from Florida and Turkey. Back in December 2007, when they went to contract, must've looked like a good way to invest a few hundred thousand. They may still get out without too much of a loss.

well. 703 closed for $945 K in October. and you can rent the same amount of sq footage for $3,975 a month. so, considering transaction costs, seems like they'll be lucky to lose less than $150K.
