Discussion about
The bank has been negotiating an “orderly transfer” of the properties since earlier this year, Alyson Barnes, a Morgan Stanley spokeswoman, said today in a phone interview. She declined to name the lenders. The buildings are held by Morgan Stanley’s MSREF V US Fund, she said. “This isn’t a default or foreclosure situation,” Barnes said. “We are going to give them the properties to get out of the loan obligation" sounds like a default situation..but hey you say tomatoe i say tomaatoe

""Compelling investment opportunities continue to exist throughout the United States from improving property market fundamentals, secular demographic trends and take-private transactions," said Michael Franco, Managing Director and Head of MSREF U.S. "MSREF V U.S. generated tremendous investor interest raising nearly four times the equity capital of its predecessor fund MSREF IV Domestic in 2000." "
