Discussion about
I'm purchasing a co-op apartment. A few years ago I moved from NY to TX and neglected to change my car insurance. As a result, NY considered this a lapse in insurance, and suspended my license. My license has since been reinstated, but assuming this shows up on the co-op's background check, do you think it will pose a problem in terms of getting approved? Thanks.

That wouldn't show up on the coop's check. How could it? Or could it? No.
Manhattan is a place where you can have no driver's license and you can stand proud ....
Actually, it could work in your favor.
