Lady Gaga is, after all, a lady, unlike a certain poster starting with HFS. HFS is an ugly troll; Lady Gaga is a fascinating performance artist and occasionally useful teaching tool!

She's a fascinating further rendition of Madonna and also Cindy Sherman ----------
Wasn't she terrific with the queen!! That red dress of hers!
Goes to show ----- all girls schools do good things for young women .....

From what I understand she's filed bankruptcy more than once, and is an Icon to some for reasons that escape me. What's the fascination here?

She's not a rendition of Madonna....
Gaga can actually sing, can actually write, and can actually play an instrument.

I think she's as adept as Madonna at the pop cultural creation so far... better than the first round of madonna, imho, but lets see how she progresses. Do we get a "like a virgin" tv performance... or the multiple rounds of personna?

Where did she buy? She's quite talented and fun - she takes her art so seriously, and yet her outlandish costumes seem to be tongue-in-cheek and give a wink and a nod to 70s glam.

She is a talented artist, maybe ONLY appears to be a slight freak case, but i bet it's all an ad twist she gives to her image

In Europe, the prevailing opinion seems to be that she is a he. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I think Miss Gaga is a HOT bitch. I'm sure it's not my type of music but she's spicy & stylish & she says that as she writes her music, she's seeing the costumes. Yum! So where IS this new place, anyway?

You're probably the same age as Cindy Sherman and Madonna, Poorishlady, but being a fan of Lady Gaga when you're twice her age is just sad. Are you the oldest one in the sudience at her show?

Lobster: If you're seriously considering a move to the Upper West Side, you'll have to get used to middle-aged boomers who stay hip by watching YouTube over their kids' shoulders. There are a lot of us over here.

Anyway, I don't see any recent ACRIS entries for "Germanotta".

Seriously unfriendly. Gotta love anonymous message boards where even the "sweet nice" people every so often feel licensed and free to be bitches.

Aboutready, I've been nothing if not considerate to all SE posters over the past few months and Poorishlady saw that trait as a sign of weakness. I wish that all SE posters were like you, Aboutready.

oh lobster, that wasn't a criticism. in the slightest. i didn't think poorish's comments to you were all that bad, but i can see how they may have irritated.

i'm fairly certain i wasn't so polite in one of my early exchanges with you. but it's all good. i've grown to know you(r online persona) better and i like chatting with you about real estate matters.

The young set here also thinks Lady Gaga is a she-male or trannie.....
I don't really know where they get that.
Hmmm, quite thin-skinned, lobster! You remain superlatively earnest .............

For the part of Falcogold I would chose Chris Penn but, alas...he's dead.
Second choice for me is Jud Law
Third choice is Soupy Sales (circa 1968)

If I only get a bit part I think I'd still pick Chris Penn with Brittany Murphy doing the voice over.
What? she's dead too!!!
OK, Miley Cyrus doing the voice of Brittany doing the voice over for the late Chris Penn doing me.
Like my wife say's, "if he dies on the couch with the remote in his hand it's going to be the smell that tips us off."
