$1.35MM. I have no idea what - if anything - this sale implies about Brooklyn, but it's pretty significant for downtown Manhattan. The same unit closed for $1.3MM in May 2003.

Jim: There isn't one, which makes me wonder whether it might not have been an arm's length traansaction. 2003 pricing for that location seems odd.

"Go after the housing deduction, somewhere else?
You really DO want to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!
We're socialists in this country! We have an undying loyalty to our housing deductions"

wow, 2003 prices for one of the hottest neighborhoods....

West81st, some of the units in this building are looking rather ratty. We looked there in 1999, and I've been back a few times. as I always say anywhere we looked wasn't truly prime. It might not be arms length, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it were. Any indications of financial stress on acris?

AR: Not really, but it's hard to say when you're looking at an LLC controlled by a guy with a very common name.

For those of us who are not insiders, could someone please disclose the address under discussion?

Thanks.

evnyc-click on web address at top of thread. I bet this is not an arms length sale but have no evidence this is the case.

Yes, it takes me to the "you are trying to access a Streeteasy Insider feature." I'm not an insider so I can't see anything. Just wanted to be able to poke around in ACRIS for giggles; my current RE pipe dream is Tribeca vicinity.
