Way overpriced! The plateform is 5 feet high only so it's basically a studio.

I haven't seen the building. A friend lives on South 4th, and it is very very noisy due to the train. Noise would be my first issue.

People have any comments on this building?

kiz ; with all due respect, in a market where the prices are all in transition, "you get what you pay for" doesn't seem like a good phrase to use(and smacks of broker-speak); perhaps better to say, "it's crap and it should be priced lower, much lower", if that's your view

bjw...what you think of this building?

That's great Matt. I will also give you 5 crisp $1 bills for any of your $20s.

jim, haven't seen the interior of the building. I prefer the northside to this area, but it ain't bad, and this is quite close to Walter Foods (my weakness in terms of restaurants here). I'm not a fan of the bi-level layouts, but if they're appealing to you and you only need a studio or 1BR, this might be a good fit. Looks like some have decent private outdoor space, so would definitely take a look if I were you. I think it's just far enough away from the bridge so that noise isn't much of a factor, but you should check for yourself of course. Would also definitely want to make sure construction is up to snuff as well, but don't see too many other major negatives.

"Of course, rents continue to go down..."

The strange thing is that they haven't really come down in Williamsburg yet. I'm fairly confident it's only a matter of time, (maybe when 184 Kent and 34 Berry start filling up) but rents are still strong in the area. Patience, as always.
